Library Hours Expand, Open at 9 a.m.

The library will open at 9 a.m. beginning May 1st.The change was adopted by library board action at their March 2012 meeting. Jean Carter, Board President, said “The library is delighted we can financially support this increase in service to Peru residents. We know how many patrons stop by the library in the morning, only to be disappointed the library hasn’t yet opened. But not any longer.”

The change impacts the library’s opening time each day the library is regularly open, Monday through Saturday. The library’s hours are now 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
