Library Catalog Changes

On Thursday, July 5th, the Library’s catalog (PrairieCat) will have a new look as we upgrade to new software. The new look is the only change you will notice. Your holds/requests, items checked out, and other information is automatically transferred from the old software to the new software.

New features include Reading History, faceted searching, saving reading lists and tags. Patrons must individually choose Reading History from their My Account section. Once chosen (Opt In) the PrairieCat software will keep track of the items borrowed. Only you may see your reading list. If you Opt In, you can delete the entire list or items on the list at any time.
