As part of the Maud Powell Arts Celebration (August 17-18), the library is the venue for Instrument Experience, a time for hands-on experience to musical instruments. On display in the library’s reading area will be variety of instruments for you to touch and play. Stop by the library Saturday the 18th between 2 and 3:30 p.m. to have an Instrument Experience.
The LP High School Marching Band performs from 1:30 to 2 p.m. between the library and Washington Park.
