Consumer Reports added to online magazine database

The Peru Library is happy to provide ConsumerReports.org® — the largest paid-publication subscription-based website in the world — to our patrons. Whether looking to find the best deal on an LCD TV or researching the top-recommended used vehicles, ConsumerReports.org provides ratings and reviews, recommendations and buying advice for thousands of products and services.

In addition to product ratings and reviews, patrons will find in-depth advice, tips and trends written by Consumer Reports experts. Frequently updated articles, blogs and video content allow Peru patrons to peruse the latest consumer news — whether they’re looking to learn more about budget-friendly home improvement plans, understanding the benefits and risks of retirement options, or searching for the latest recalls of baby products.

Patrons can continue to read current issues at the library or quickly research products using the online (electronic) access. The electronic Consumer Reports, available through our Magazine (Omnifile) subscription, can be used in the library or at home. Once at our  website, click on Books+More, then Research Databases, then Consumer Reports.
