Accelerated Reader Update

All juvenile novels and chapter books now have the Accelerated Reader levels and points added to a label on each book. We are working to put the AR level and points on our story/picture books and our nonfiction collection.

Upcoming events in the Children’s area:

Preschool Story Time  will resume each Wednesday beginning September 12, 2012. Story time is designed for children who are able to sit quietly.  Every week a new theme is chosen.  Children will enjoy hearing special readings by the librarians as well as joining in the songs and finger plays.  Activities may also include a craft and refreshments. There is no cost to attend story time.  Please register with a Children’s Services Librarian and come see what Miss Lynn and Miss Beth have planned!
